The Apeldoorn Four-Day-Walking Event cancelled

This year it’s the 67th edition of the Apeldoorn four-day-walking event. From Tuesday 12th to Friday the 15th of July 2022, to be precise. You too can participate, whether you are a seasoned hiker or a beginner, young or not that young any more. Why? Because there are so many options. Would you like to hike 12, 20, 30, 40 of 50 kilometres per day? That’s possible. Or would you like to hike one, two or three days instead of the regular four? That is possible too. It is completely up to you! So are you in?

The registration for the 67th Cantharel International 4 Days Apeldoorn not open yet!

Routes rich in nature

As participant of the Apeldoorn four-day-walking event you are dished an appealing route each day. From the start you walk right into nature. Depending on the distance you picked, you will walk through woods, across heaths and along sand drifts. Besides strolling through various villages of the Veluwe you will walk along many sights of Apeldoorn and surroundings. Nature reserve Berg en Bos, Palace Het Loo, the man-made springs: you will encounter it all during the four walks.

When you are planning to participate in a one- or multiple day hike, it is wise to start the preparations on time. By this,  you can prevent that the walking fun changes into a disappointment. We advise to build up the length of your hikes easefully and regularly. This ensures a pleasant and enjoyable result!

Fantastic atmosphere

The Apeldoorn Four-day-walking event, which is organised completely by volunteers, is known for the beautiful nature and great atmosphere. At the resting points and at the start and finish the participants are welcomed with a varied music programme. The local farmers’ market, on the last hiking day, offers even more ambiance.
